Frida Giannini went back to the decade of mod for Gucci's Fall 2014.
Mostly likley inpspired by James Franco's documentry The Driector, showcasing Giannini at work, probley had her digging back through the arcives. Giannini went for pastel colors such as baby blue, sage green, pale pink and sage green for her sixixties clothing. As well as the very popular leporad print, snake print and of course black & white. But she didn't just stop there. She debuted a varitey of furs in teddy bear shearling, goat hair, beaver, mink and in a variety of colors and shapes.
With see-through sunglasses and knee- high boots Gucci was all about the sporty little mod girl.

Donatella Versace is amazing. This is not just a statement but a fact.
She pulled out all the stops as usual for her Fall 2014 collection. Donatella felt that she had covered evening in her couture collection, she decided to go for daytime. Yes this is her idea of daytime, and this is why she is amazing.
With the execption of the last four gowns, she brought out what a strong colourful women would wear when she wakes up in the morning to get dressed. She used bold color like petrol blue and vivid red in fabrics of silk and satin with bias cuts. Everthing from the dress to skirt to suits, fur coats and gowns where works of art. The clothing was topped off with amazing hair and makeup, true to Italy jewlery, and strappy heels and bags.
The colors, the cuts, and the military inspired buttons all adding up to a women with style, sex and class.
Blumarine

Talk about glamour and class. This Fall 2014 round up of my favorites are amazing. An Blumarine's Fall 2014 is up there with the best of them.
Satin pants and shirts, with fur and embroided coats, and a statement cape are just some of the amazing pieces. Between the color and fabrics, I would have a stunning wardrobe if I had these. You can tell that for most of the collection Blumarine was inspried by japonaise women. The kimino that lead the show, and the embroderiey and print of japonaise flowers. The sift then went to rich old school glamour girl and modern age.
It was a wonderful mix.
Dolce & Gabbana

For Fall 2014 Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana called thier beautiful collection "Enchanted Sicily".
With inspieration from the Renaissance period with knights in armour and the beautiful fair maidens the enchantment shown through in each piece. Models wore chain mesh helmuts, jeweled gloves, pointy toed shoes and beautifully cravted bags with the clothing. The pieces featured all kinds of animals from foxes, swans, fairies, owls and squirrles reminding me of Snow White and her forest friends. There was lace, key prints, floral flowy numbers and of course bejewelment.
From capes to dresses to gowns and even pants, this collection was a fest for the eyes.
Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli's fashion show opened with a ring of blazing circle of flames in the middle of the catwalk.
An while the flames were an insperation for some of the pieces that came down the runway. Cavalli's real inpsretaion was Lee Miller an American photographer in Paris in the 1920's. An I must say the falpper era was well represented. Fringe dresses that shined and sparkled and huge fur coats could make any girl feel like she's in a speakeasy. An as Cavalli always does he brought out animal print. The prints? white and black python and brown lepoard print all to die for. The scarf print was back in the matching pants and blouse. While the colors apart from the prints where stunning blue and fiery red.
