Donna Karan is celebrating her 30th Anniversary this season. Looking back at her archives, Donna brought back to life some of her famous pieces and stuck to her basics that made her so famous. But most of all she was inspired by and made a tribute to her New York. With jackets, sharp tailoring, and no print, just basics she brought New York to life. But don't think that's all. The show ended with amazing chiffon gowns, cut beautifuly and even some added velevet pieces.

By now you had to have realized my love for things feminie, and beautiful.

And Oscar de la Renta is one of those kinds of desingers that I love for that very reason. Dont get me wrong, I love a good power suit in a beautiful color, print or fabric and de la Renta supplied that too. So many of these collections have me saying now thats an Oscar awards dress. Oscar is no doubt, and always has been a condentor. He showcased your going to work to going to that fabulous party, which do you prefer?

Kate Spade New York's Fall 2014 collection was everthing Kate Spade is.

Fun, bright beautiful and of course wearable to anywhere. Even with drastic changes seeming to be coming and a name change to Kate Spade, the brand it's self that was created by Deborah Lloyd has not changed. I love the bright pieces, the embellishments and of course the adorable accessories. Kate Spade has always been about color and fun, and Iv'e never remembered seeing a Kate Sape New York piece and not wanting it.

The same goes for this collection.

Escada's Fall 2014 consisted of all things I love. Color, floral patterns and lace, and the suits are fantastic too.

James Turrell's artwork not only inspired thier Pre-Fall 2014 collection but this Fall 2014 collection as well. All the way from the beautiful teal suit to the dramatic ball gowns this line is incrediable. I would wear every piece. News alert, those dramatic ball gowns were desinged for one of this years Oscar nominees.

I just offically became more excited for the red carpet

Christian Siriano's line was stunning. The first fur coat that came out I almost died, that's a must own.

The colors, the furs and the fabrics where all to covet. Sirianos insperation was the photographs of Lisa Fonssagrives-Penn, taken from her husbands Fernand Fonssagrives and Irving Penn. Sirano said "A friend sent me a photo of Lisa taken by Fernand, and I loved the way he created texture with light and shadow", and every women is now thankful for that. The glamour that oozed out of the collection, and the best winged eye I have ever seen.

I am just dying to see a celeb wear these pieces true to the styling on the runway.

Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig told reporters backstage that this season thier muse was "our Scottish woman who's a little bit more disheveled in winter, with this static hair like she's running through the fields in the Highlands."

But don't take that the wrong way, there was nothing tacky insight, just picture that scene with a gown blowing in the wind. That's their collection. With the Oscars coming up, we just might see one of these gowns on the red carpet.

 Monique Lhuillier

Fall 2014 Collection

Monique Lhuillier decided that for this Fall 2014 season she wanted something darker, "A bold, dramatic twist," as the designer put it.

An to put this off Lhuiller added skulls to her collection. An while yes they are hard to spot, once the get pointed out you can see them on the fabric. To accsent the darkness of this collection she added dark and deep hues of color. But the desinger couldn't help but couldn't help but throw an "Angel" into the collection, with the delicate long sleeve, shimmery high-low hem dress.

Stacey Bendet takes you into a beautiful and mysterious garden filled with exquisite pieces of clothing. Every single piece had me covet it as I went through the looks.

This creation was called Enchanted: The Search for the Golden Monarch, presented on a paper scroll. This season Stacey was inspired by the illustrated pop-up books of Benjamin Lacombe. The collection was majestic, with Victorian-era inspired pieces mixed with glamour, and of course the fifties. It brought together all of a womens favorite things. Hollywood glamour, cute & sweet and timless. Bendet herself said ""The clothes are dark, sexy, and all tying back to a Victorian element"

The collection of course made my top favorite collections of Fall 2014

   Jenny Packham

Fall 2014 Collection

Shown are my favorite pieces from this collection.

Jenny Packham was inspired this season by Bianca Jagger, and as she put it "Not what she wore, but how she wore it," the designer said backstage. "Eclectic, with intelligence and wit."

She sent out multiple diffrent looks throughtout the collection with a couple of feathery fur coats in between, suits and of course dresses. Diffrent color palets all from pastel to bright which I loved and veried silouets. To some the collection the way it was brought out mighthad been confusing, but you can't denie that the designs where amazing.
